Vera Giacomazzi was named Mid-American Conference Setter of the Year, Tia Jimerson was named Freshman of the Year and Lizzie Stephens joined the two on the 2017 All-MAC team.
The news came in a release by the MAC on Wednesday.
Giacomazzi, a freshman from Italy, was fourth in the MAC with 10.56 assists per set. Jimerson, a freshman from Sugar Hill, Georgia, boasted the fourth best hitting percentage in the conference, hitting .362 for the season. She was also eighth in the conference with 3.36 kills per set.
Stephens, a Dallas, Texas native, led the conference with 57 aces, which is tied for fourth nationally. Stephens was slso fourth in the MAC in kills per set.
The MAC Player of the Year was Bowling Green libero Kallie Seimet.
The Bobcats will begin the MAC Tournament Friday at 4:30 p.m., taking on the winner of Thursday's match between Buffalo and Eastern Michigan.
