Good morning,

Forbes released its list of the 400 richest people in America on Tuesday, possibly making the other people envious of their wealth.

Bill Gates topped the list for the 24th consecutive year with a net worth of $89 billion. Amazon owner Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Mark Zuckerberg and Larry Ellison round out the top five.

Those wishing to make The Forbes 400 list now have to obtain a net worth of $2 billion, up from last year’s $1.7 billion minimum. The accumulative total climbed to $2.7 trillion, which is also up $300 billion from last year.
