2017 has been the year of reunions, and E! is bringing us one we will not want to miss. We are sure to have a situation, because our favorite New Jerseyans will gather for an epic one-night event. Reunion Road Trip: Return To the Jersey Shore is the pilot for a new series, set to air on E!, which will bring together cast members from Jersey Shore.
This special is exciting because we were introduced to this wild group of friends in December 2009. Since then, we have seen them "GTL" through Seaside Heights, Miami and Italy, ultimately changing the game of reality television. Although this reunion will show a more responsible group of adults, Nicole Polizzi, better known as Snooki, reminded us that they still know how to get down.
“The best thing that could happen is Jenni or Pauly getting arrested,” Polizzi said.
Although we are missing Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese, the special does bring back five out of the eight cast members we were once obsessed with. If this episode does well, we could be getting what we have wanted for quite some time: a full season. Cortese even hinted on Twitter about the possibility of a future with her old roomies.

The saunter down the boardwalk, the fist pumping and Mike "The Situation" in a neckbrace bring back so many of the fun memories that the MTV series once gave us. Even though the cast are all at different places in their lives, it is fun — and also bittersweet — to see them reunited on their old stomping grounds.
