The new Bachelor in Paradise cast has been revealed, and by the looks of it, the coming season will be filled with a lot of drama — and, hopefully, cheese pasta.
Bachelor in Paradise is a spin-off of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette that brings past contestants of the shows to an island where they will, hopefully, fall in love. As the weeks go by, more contestants come to the island unannounced, often shaking up relationships that have already started forming.
Corinne Olympios, the villain of Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, will be heading to paradise. Corinne will definitely stir up some drama on the island, possibly involving Taylor Nolan, with whom she fought during Viall’s season. What would make the show better is if Corinne's nanny, Raquel, came along too — everyone could benefit from the cheese pasta.
Country girl Raven Gates, the runner-up on Viall’s season, will swap her cowgirl boots for sandals. Raven is known for speaking her mind — and disclosing all her sexual encounters — so her strong presence will definitely be noticed in paradise.
Alexis Waters showed up on night one of The Bachelor in a shark costume, claiming it was a dolphin, and now she will most likely be providing some comic relief in paradise. Let’s just hope she doesn’t mistake a real shark for a dolphin — that would not be a pretty sight.
Though Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette started just a few weeks ago, she already sent one guy home before a rose ceremony — and now he will be on Bachelor in Paradise. DeMario Jackson, who made waves after revealing to Rachel that he had another girlfriend, might get a chance to redeem himself on the island, but it’s probably safe to say not everyone will be thrilled he’s there.
Ken Doll look-alike Robby Hayes, from JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette, will show off his swimmer’s body in paradise. Robby was serious about finding someone to love, and he probably hasn’t stopped looking. If all goes well, he has a good chance of leaving the island with a fiancée. Maybe he will find it with Amanda Stanton, who was on both Ben Higgins's season of The Bachelor and the previous season of Bachelor in Paradise. The two seem like they might make a good pair.
Bachelor in Paradise is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
