An original Pretty Little Liars couple could be getting back together — but the circumstances are less than favorable.
Tuesday's episode brought hope to the fans of one couple. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen)’s relationship — also known as Spoby — was more in the friendship stage at the beginning of the season. Throughout the episode, Toby and Spencer made progress with their current love interests. Spencer and Marco Furey (Nicholas Gonzalez) spent the day playing pingpong, while Toby and Yvonne Phillips (Kara Royster) got married. Yes, the couple tied the knot in the hospital, shortly after she woke up from her coma.
But the drama doesn’t stop there. After sharing some cake and talking about all of the traveling they want to do, Yvonne loses consciousness and goes limp. Though it was never said Yvonne died, it’s a pretty safe bet that she did. At the end of the episode, Spencer decided to go to the hospital to visit Toby and Yvonne. She saw Toby in the hallway and ended up comforting him on the hospital’s white, shiny floors.
Though the death of Yvonne is sad, Spoby fanatics can hold out hope for the couple to reunite in the final episodes. Pretty Little Liars fans have been missing those cute moments between the two characters.
