Good Morning,

After nearly 13 years, tomorrow will be President McDavis’ last day in office.

The Post has been working on a special edition about McDavis’ years in office. Naturally, a lot has changed since he took up the job.

Here’s a short rundown:

Ohio topped – and dropped off of – the nation’s top party school list

Athens and Ohio University grew closer than before

HCOM expanded

More scholarships were given

Projects were started and completed

And athletics improved

McDavis had a sometimes rocky relationship with faculty, but some students viewed him as a mentor.

Hopefully the new president, whoever that may be, will transition smoothly. Things haven’t always been easy.

Weather

Yep, it’s still winter. Mostly cloudy and a high of 40 degrees today. (Courtesy of Scalia Lab)
