As the season progresses for the Bobcats, and the weekend series continue to physically impact them, they will inevitably get injured. Post reporters Jordan Horrobin and Spencer Holbrook will write a weekly blog — if injuries allow — documenting Ohio’s bumps and bruises.
After a week which saw many injuries and illnesses, the Bobcats (19-4-1) are now relatively healthy and ready to hit the road for a weekend series in Piscataway, New Jersey to take on Rutgers.
Forwards
Gianni Evangelisti has been nursing a broken finger for quite some time now, but he will play.
Austin Heakins (back/neck) went through a full practice. He will play this weekend.
Brock Rumbaugh (back/ribs) had a full practice and will play.
Patrick Hannan did not practice.
Defensemen
Mike Lafrenier is wearing a red, no contact jersey this week in practice, but will play.
“He’s got to play,” coach Sean Hogan said.
Goalies
All three goalies went through full practices without injury.
