Women's Golf: A pair of 77 scores help Bobcats in Sorrento, Florida

Two golfers shot third round scores of 77 in Sorrento, Florida. 

Ohio had two golfers who shot scores of 77 Tuesday at the MSU Spring Citrus Challenge to help it finish the three-day tournament strong.

Hailey Hrynewich shot 5-over-par to tally a score of 77 for the final round. Although it was her worst round in the three-day match, she shot 9-over-par overall, making her three-round score 225.

The 225 was enough for Hrynewich to tie for 13th place as an individual for the tournament.

The other 77 came from senior Angela Codian, who posted the 5-over-par score after shooting a 76 and 75 in her first two rounds.

Codian finished the tournament tied for 26th place after a three-day total of 228, 12-over-par. 

The solid three-day outing from Hrynewich and Codian helped the Bobcats finish the tournament in 13th place out of 20 teams, after posting a three day total score of 927 (+63).

Western Kentucky won the tournament with a three day total of 899 (+35).

Kelsey Badmaev from Elon was the medalist of the tournament with a final score of 214, 2-under-par.

Ohio will be back in action April 1 and 2 at the Lady Colonel Classic in Richmond, Kentucky.
