After one day of the NCAA Zone 'C' Diving Championships, Ohio's Haleigh Bartlett started strong at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center in Purdue.
Bartlett finished Thursday's 1-meter dive with a net score of 93.50 and a degree of difficulty of 14.9, making her six-dive total score 234.20.
She finished in 26th place out of 51 divers.

The first dive was her best, giving her a score of 50.70 to get out to an early seventh place start.
Bartlett then struggled on the board until her fifth dive, where she finished fifth for the round with a score of 46.80.
Ohio will have two divers compete on Friday in West Lafayette, Indiana, as Bartlett and teammate Olivia Dillon will compete in the 3-meter dive.
