Kiyanna Black wins MAC East Player of the Week following a 39-point outing against Central Michigan and 17-point game against Eastern Michigan.
Senior guard Kiyanna Black was named Mid-American Conference East Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
The honors came two days after her career-high 39 points Saturday afternoon in Ohio's 86-84 win against Central Michigan.
She also had a good performance against Eastern Michigan last Wednesday. She scored 17 points when Ohio won 71-64.

It is the third time Black has received this award this year.
In addition to the MAC East Player of the Week honors, she also earned College Sports Madness National High-Major Player of the Week and College Sports Madness MAC player of the week.
Black leads the team with 18.2 points per game, shooting 30 percent from the field and 34 percent from three.
Black and the Bobcats play Kent State on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
