Columnist Clare Palo lists nine things you can tell your social-media-managing friends to make their days.
As social media managers, we hold ourselves to a certain esteem. Not everyone can write a tweet or Facebook copy, error free, in under a minute during breaking news (OK, most everyone could, but do they love it as much as we do?). And not everyone enjoys writing the kind of glitzy headline a general interest story might need. We love our jobs — there is a nerdiness to our craft. So, here are nine sexy, thoughtful and lovely phrases that can make any social media manager's day. Try ‘em out on your friendly, local social-crazed friend.
1. Wanna Tweetdeck and chill? (Or Hootsuite, SocialFlow, etc.)
2. That tweet copy was top notch.
3. I stalked your Instagram, love your photos.
4. A+ caption on that Facebook post.
5. Your snapstory game was on point.
6. Can you help me with my LinkedIn?
7. You increased engagement by 70 percent this week.
8. You have a well-written Twitter bio.
9. I found someone to join your social media squad.
