Ohio University is being sued after a CATS bus hit a students car.
An Ohio University student is suing the university for $965.72 after a Campus Area Transit Service bus hit her car.
MaryJess Daugherty filed a claim Thursday with the Ohio Court of Claims.
On Nov. 17, the CATS bus was attempting to park when the driver backed into Daugherty’s car as she was putting her vehicle in reverse, according to court documents.
The front bumper cover grill of Daugherty’s car was damaged, and the car’s fender came loose, according to court documents.
