After a MAC champion title last season, some Bobcats are already receiving praise in the preseason.
Ohio was crowned Mid-American Conference champions last season, and now it's receiving plaudits in the preseason.
Coach Bob Boldon, senior guard Kiyanna Black and junior guard Quiera Lampkins were all named to the 2015 College Sports Madness All-MAC team.
The recognition came Wednesday, with Black receiving first team honors, Lampkins earning second team honors and Boldon being named preseason coach of the year.
Black led the team offensively last year, averaging 16 points on 36 percent shooting from beyond the arc and 38 percent from the field. She also averaged four rebounds a game and set the program record for 3-pointers in a single season (100).
Black earned MAC East player of the week honors three times last season, was named to the All-MAC first team and won the 2015 MAC Tournament MVP award.
Black also became a member of Ohio's 1,000-point club and is ranked No. 8 in all-time scoring for the Bobcats.
Lampkins had a solid season, as well, averaging 12.5 points per game and leading Ohio in rebounds (6.7), assists (2.55) and steals (1.24) per game. She also had five double-doubles and shot 46 percent from the field. Lampkins received All-MAC third team honors last season.
Last season, Boldon took a team that was 9-21 in 2013-14 and led the Bobcats to their first outright title — a regular season and tournament championship —since 1985-86.

Ohio's 16 conference wins last season are tied for most in program history.
Now Boldon, Black and Lampkins must refocus for the upcoming season, which starts Nov. 7 with an exhibition game against Wilmington College in The Convo. Ohio's regular season begins Nov. 15 when the Bobcats travel to Champaign, Illinois to take on Illinois.
