'The Post' sports staff predicts Ohio against Buffalo

'The Post' sports staff predicts Ohio's matchup with Buffalo this weekend.

Ohio will play Buffalo this Saturday, despite health issues concerning the linebacker corp.

Here's our staff predictions for the weekend:

Luke O'Roark | Sports Editor (4-3)

Ohio 17, Buffalo 14. I'm so torn. I don't know how Ohio feels after being embarrassed last week, but here's to hoping the Bobcats turn it around!

Charlie Hatch | Sports Editor (5-2)

Ohio 17, Buffalo 13.  For as much as the defense gets credit and recognition, it’s the offense on Saturday.

Tony Wolfe | Senior Writer (5-2)

Ohio 20, Buffalo 13. The second level of Ohio's defense is utterly decimated, but I've got some faith that Frank's staff built 60 minutes of watchable football during practice this week. It'll be a pretty significant victory if the Bobcats can notch it.

Wynston Wilcox | Staff Writer (4-3)

Ohio 27, Buffalo 20. I think it will be a fairly high scoring game. The 'Cats have some defense issues with injuries and lack of depth. That will hurt them but the offense has been pretty explosive throughout the better part of the season thus far.

Jordan Horrobin | Staff Writer (6-1)

Buffalo 27, Ohio 21. Too many injuries and, as a result, too many question marks. The Bobcats shouldn't have lost to Western Michigan at home. Traveling to Buffalo could be a momentum boost heading into the Bowling Green game but is more likely to turn into a two-game skid.
