Ohio played its best in the final round of the three-round tournament, dropping its team score to 297 strokes after shooting 307 in each of the first two rounds.
By shooting nine over par on day three, the Bobcats had the fourth lowest third-round scores in the tournament. Only Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois were able to card lower scores than the Bobcats in the final 18 holes.
Throughout the entire tournament, the Bobcats continued to sink their shots for par. After 72 holes, the Bobcats made 166 shots for par, the third most made by any team in the tournament.
The Bobcats have had trouble beating out other Mid-American Conference teams, however, as they finished behind four of the six other MAC teams at the Cardinal Classic. Ohio only beat out Ball State and Central Michigan.
