OUPD arrested the former Ohio University basketball player after he was charged with gross sexual imposition, a fourth degree felony.
Though the Ohio University Police Department has received five reports of sex-related crimes this semester alone, they have only made one arrest so far.
OUPD arrested former OU basketball player Reginald Williams II on Sept. 9.
Williams was charged with gross sexual imposition, a fourth degree felony, and transported to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
The report was filed Sept. 8 after a female reported she received unwanted sexual conduct from a male acquaintance.
Williams was later arrested in the Baker Center Ballroom.
During his preliminary hearing in Athens Municipal Court, he didn't enter a plea.
