One Athens resident appreciates university students’ efforts at a community garden.
Many thanks to Trevor Walsh, president of the Community Service leadership council of Ohio University. On a hot Saturday morning recently, Trevor volunteered service hours to the Westside Community Gardens of Athens, along with Kelly Bilz, Esther Grossman, Adar Matzuba-Ehrlich and Bryan Stringer.
Too often the good deeds of OU students go unnoticed, and I want to give them public recognition. I, along with other gardeners, appreciate those five volunteers who represent OU students in a positive way.
