Rum milkshakes make for a delicious and quick treat as the weather warms up.
When the warm weather rolls around, I crave a tasty, cool treat. Ice cream and frozen yogurt suffice at times. However, after a long week immersed in my studies for endless hours that frozen treat needs to have a harder edge to it.
Rum milkshakes fulfill that craving for an adult version of a frozen dessert. Not being one for day drinking, rum milkshakes don’t overpower me to an uncomfortable drunk level (compared to my festing college cohorts).
This relatively inexpensive drink is great to share with friends. Restaurants charge customers upwards of $12 for alcoholic milkshakes. For this upcoming weekend, purchase the rum of your choice and a few gallons of ice cream, and invite all the moms around to indulge.
