Ohio University students are going to have a hard time staying dry today.
Athens County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 6 p.m. and a severe thunderstorm warning until 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The rough weather first hit Athens in the early afternoon, leading many students and local transportation services to take to social media to vent their frustration.
