The Center for Student Legal Services opens its office for students who want to know how to fest safely

The Center for Student Legal Services encourages students to exercise caution and good judgment at the #Fest.

To the Editor,

Spring has sprung in Athens! As the weather gets warmer, Ohio University students celebrate the season by taking to the streets to participate in the annual series of block parties known as the “Fests.” While the majority of the fests have come and gone, students look forward to capping off this year’s fest season with the massive #Fest.

The Center for Student Legal Services encourages students to exercise caution and good judgment at the #Fest. Second in scale only to the annual Halloween block party, the #Fest always sees a number of students cited for alcohol violations. We suggest that students who plan on attending visit the official #Fest website, as well as the CSLS website, studentlegalrights.org, to familiarize themselves with official policies to ensure a good experience.

The Center for Student Legal Services (CSLS) invites you to stop by our open house this Friday, April 17 from 1-3 p.m. at our office above the College Bookstore at 50 S. Court Street. Pat McGee, our managing attorney, will be available to answer questions about #Fest safety and any general questions about the variety of legal services and internships that CSLS has to offer.

On behalf of everyone at the Center for Student Legal Services (CSLS), have a great #Fest and come in and talk to our attorneys about how to fest safely!
