Hermanek and the Bobcats have had to fill in position voids throughout the year, with ace Savannah Jo Dorsey battling a shoulder injury throughout the year.
Dorsey has played just two games this season after she helped lead Ohio to its first MAC Championship in program history last year.
Last season, Dorsey recorded an ERA of 2.37 and recorded 25 wins inside the circle.
This season, seniors Lauren McClary and Kaylin Clarke have pitched for majority of the season, with the two recording an ERA of 5.74 and 7.21 this season respectively.
On offense, juniors Amanda Dalton and Sloan Walker have led the Bobcats with both leading the team in hits and at-bats.
