Previously nonexistent emojis have been added to IOS
IPhone users were treated to a very inclusive surprise on Wednesday as the iOS 8.3 update was made available.
The update featured the addition of 300 new emojis, according to Forbes, the most publicized being the option to now choose between six different skin tones for emojis depicting people. Users can access these characters by holding down on their desired emoji, and a box will pop up displaying the new emojis.

Racially diverse emojis were not the only new ones added; there are now same-sex relationship family emojis. Previously, there were only same-sex couple emojis on the iPhone and different-sex families.
More than 32 flags from different countries have also been added to the new emoji options, bringing the total flags available up to 42.
Other emojis added during the update include more gadgets, such as the Apple Watch.
