The Convo played host to three commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, with about 4,000 OU students receiving their degrees.

What you need to know for this year's graduation ceremony

Thousands of students will walk across the stage at the commencement ceremony of 2015. Here’s the information you need to make sure that day runs smoothly for you and your family.

When is it?

The ceremony for graduate students is May 1 at 9:30 a.m.

There are two ceremonies for undergraduate students (depending on your college) on May 2. The two ceremonies start at 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

I’m an undergraduate student. Which ceremony do I attend?

The following colleges will take part in the 9:30 a.m. session:

College of Business, College of Fine Arts, Russ College of Engineering and Technology, Scripps College of Communication, University College and Regional Higher Education

The following colleges will take part in the 2 p.m. session:

College of Arts and Sciences, Patton College of Education, College of Health Sciences and Professions, Honors Tutorial College and the Center for International Studies

When should students arrive?

The university says 45 minutes before the ceremony starts. OU also has a set of instructions for students.

When should family members arrive?

There are no tickets for the event, so seats are a first-come, first serve. The university also has parking information available online.

Where can I pick up my cap and gown?

They will be available for a variety of dates and times. You will have to pick them up on the third floor of Baker University Center.
