A family friend reported Monday that several awards were missing from late Ohio University alumnus Paul Jacoway's house.
Several awards belonging to Ohio University alumnus Paul Jacoway, who died last week, were reported missing Monday night.
One of Jacoway's close friends reported three "Gold Records," a regional Emmy award and two Telly awards as missing to the Akron police, according to media reports.
Jacoway died last week of "natural causes" on March 9 at the age of 55.
He taught journalism courses and received a PhD in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in 2014. When he died, he was a professor at the University of Akron.
