Want to know what it’s really like to work at Nelson Dining Hall? One worker takes to the web to discuss workplace environment.

A Nelson Dining Hall worker took to the social networking site Reddit to discuss the dirty details of working at the cafeteria.
The username for the poster, nelsondininghall, started an Ask Me Anything, or AMA, in the Athens, Ohio subthread of the site 19 hours ago and has answered questions submitted by online users dealing with the inner workings of Nelson.
One tip was offered on the thread about sneaking in and eating a free meal. The poster advised to get a uniform of a dining hall worker somehow. “Come at peak rush time and we'll assume you work there,” they said. “I've known of one guy who did work here and he kept coming in through the back without his uniform and he kept getting in trouble for it, but there were other things about him that made him more noticeable that I don't feel like going into.”
They also gave suggestions on what food to eat there. Although they said there is not any food one should absolutely avoid, they did not recommend the burgers. This was a result of a personal preference, not anything to do with how the food is made.
While the worker seemed to generally like their job, at least one of the cooks there rubs them the wrong way.
“The cooks are usually pretty cool, but I had one talk down to me the whole shift and start yelling at me in the concept in front of other students,” the anonymous poster said. “He's lucky I'm pretty well tempered because I know a lot of people working here that would have punched him in the face.”
