Nothing much happened over Thanksgiving Break when all the students lecft campus.
It was a slow week for the Ohio University Police Department, as most students went home for the brief Thanksgiving break.
Between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30, OUPD responded to no drug-related calls and one alcohol-related call. In all, OUPD officers only responded to seven calls to service during that time.
One of the few reports made occurred Tuesday. According to an OUPD report, a male student notified authorities that his bicycle had been stolen the week prior.
It occurred on the seventh floor of Bromley Hall, according to the report. That case is still open and currently under investigation.
A previous Post article showed that historically, more bikes are stolen on South Green than West Green, where Bromley is located.
Earlier in the week, Monday, a female subject reported that someone had broken into her vehicle.
The car was located in the Jefferson Garage. According to the report, nothing had been taken and there were no signs of forced entry or damage.
That case is inactive pending further investigative leads.
