A man also reportedly urinated over a Wilson Hall futon on Sunday morning.
A woman was left toothless Thursday after her dentures were potentially swiped from a parked car.
The woman reported to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office that morning that her dentures were inside a plastic baggie within her car when she went to retrieve them and realized they were missing.
The incident occurred on Burr Oak Road in Glouster. According to the report, the victim didn’t know who would have taken them but advised officers that she needed to file a report for insurance reasons.
There were no leads or suspects when the report was filed.
Back on OU’s campus, officers were dispatched to Wilson Hall at about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, to tend to an intoxicated individual.
An Ohio University Police Department report states that the male subject stumbled into a room on the third floor of Wilson and began urinating on a futon before shortly being stopped by another person who lived on the floor.
By the time officers arrived on the scene the subject had left, the report stated. OUPD officers searched the hall, without making contact with the intoxicated man.
This case is inactive pending further investigation leads.
Over the past week numerous Ohio University students were victims of various thefts.
According to an OUPD report, a woman had her phone stolen from Walter Hall last Monday. The type of phone was not specified in the report.
The next theft occurred between the hours of 12 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 9 p.m. on Nov. 20. The female student reported that her bike had been stolen from the bike rack outside of Bromley Hall.
A final act of larceny took place Friday afternoon at Alden Library. As reported by the OUPD, two Apple Macbook Pros were stolen from the possession of two women on the fifth floor.
That case is still under investigation.
