Ohio is expected to finish fourth in the Mid-American Conference East Division, according to the conference’s 2014-15 preseason poll released Wednesday morning.
The Bobcats also finished with one vote to win the MAC East.
Buffalo, Bowling Green and Akron were predicted to finish above Ohio, while Central Michigan was predicted to win the West Division.
Junior guard Kiyanna Black, who averaged 13.4 points per game in 2013-14, is the lone Ohio player on the Preseason All-MAC East team.
The Bobcats tip off on the road at Murray State on Nov. 14. Last season they went 9-21 (4-14 MAC) in their first year under coach Bob Boldon.
