1. Don't touch the horses. They're not there for fun, sadly.
2. Consequently, don't dress up as a police officer. Bad things could happen.
3. Go pee before heading to Court Street. There are portables, though, for emergencies.
4. Hide and protect your wristbands. If you loose it, a park bench might be comfy?
5. Don't expect your costume to make it through the night, it will get trashed or you'll lose something. Just accept it.
6. Dress warmly. Looking good isn't worth it when you're coughing up a lung.
7. Make sure your phone's fully charged.
8. Set a buddy system and stick to it. Have a universal meeting place incase someone gets lost and the cell service is down (which does happen).
9. Don't sass the police. They won't appreciate it and, all said and done, you won't either.
10. Have fun! It'll be a night you'll never forget -- or just can't remember.
