To the Editor,
This election is in fact about jobs. Specifically, good paying jobs. Our current state Rep. Debbie Phillips has neglected her constituents. It’s time for a change.
We can make a change by electing Yolan Dennis to serve the 94th House District on Nov. 4. Yolan grew up on a family farm, went on to become a nurse for 32 years and now lives and works on her own family farm. Yolan will fight to increase job training to make sure discouraged workers have the skills to succeed. Yolan will fight back against the Common Core Curriculum to ensure that our children are receiving the best possible education, while limiting the amount of rigorous testing. Yolan will fight to bring jobs in the oil and gas industry to our region. Yolan is concerned about having clean drinking water and fresh air to breathe, so she will fight to make sure companies follow the rules, and those who cheat will face the consequences.
Yolan believes that “a factor in treatment for poverty is a GOOD JOB. A factor in reaching personal goals is a GOOD JOB. A factor in relieving family stresses and challenges is a GOOD JOB. A factor for living close to family in southeast Ohio is a GOOD JOB. This campaign is about providing opportunities for anyone who is willing to work hard to have a GOOD JOB.”
Please join me this election, and cast your vote for change, cast your vote for Yolan Dennis on Nov. 4.
