Mitch Bonnstetter has been named this week's MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week.
After a 42-21 loss at Western Michigan, Ohio still wakes up on Monday with a player of the week.
The Mid-American Conference announced Monday that junior punter Mitch Bonnstetter was named the MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week.
Bonnstetter, from West Bend, Iowa, racked up 326 yards on seven punts Saturday, including a career-high 64-yarder in the first half.
He finished the game with an average of 46.6 yards per punt and also knocked three punts inside the 20-yard line and had one touchback.
This marks the third MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Ohio so far this season.
