2nd Quarter
6:53: After a penalty (two players on the field with the same number) by Kent State, Ohio's drive stayed alive. A 38-yard connection between Vick and Patterson immediately following KSU's penalty started the momentum towards the end zone and they capped off the drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass from Vick to L. 3rd Quarter
11:48: Tim Edmond fumbled the ball on a rush up the middle and Kent State recoverd the ball at the Ohio 33-yard line.
9:52: A near interception by Devin Jones on 3rd down and 3 forced Kent State to attempt a 20-yard field goal. Melchiori pushed the attempt wide right.
6:38: While Ohio was driving, Daz Patterson fumbled the ball at the Kent State 25-yard line, which was recovered by Kent State.
4th Quarter
11:01: Patterson fumbled for the second time on the night, with Kent State recovering the ball on its own 25-yard line.
7:39: Dorian Brown fumbled the ball at the Kent State 22 and the Golden Flashes recovered.
