As feminists, we are aware that patriarchy affects everyone and that its impacts are not limited to women. Last semester, ONE presidential candidate Jordan Ballinger came to a Feminist Equality Movement meeting and immediately participated in discussion. Since then he has become an active member who has shown dedication to feminism and feminist causes at and beyond the Ohio University campus.
We uphold the idea of radical inclusion and listening, and explaining grievances to the proper outlets, thus using the system in our favor to achieve our goals. We believe that ONE, if elected, will have the proper tools to educate the other members of the student body on LGBTQ issues, sexism, racism, ableism, etc. ONE is the only ticket that displays the ideas that we uphold in FEM, including consent education, SafeZone training and increased diversity representation. We ask you to VOTE ONE on Thursday, April 17.
Mackenzi Bentley and Grace Schoenberger serve as executives in the Feminist Equality Movement.
