A grant from the National Science Foundation will fund a "new industry cooperative research center" on Mill St., according to a university news release.
The center will be run by Ohio University's Russ College of Engineering and Technology and a partner site in Washington University-St. Louis.
"This exemplifies Ohio University's commitment to partnering with industry to address critical problems, and to train students who will be future leaders in technology innovation," said Joe Shields, vice president for research and creative activity and dean of the Graduate College.
