As the Spring Semester nears closing, it’s almost time for next year’s Student Senate elections.
Applications for those who wish to run for Student Senate are available now for download from the Dean of Students webpage. Applications are due in hard copy before 5 p.m. March 17 to the Event Services Office in Baker 347.
All Ohio University students enrolled in fall classes next academic year, who hold at least a 2.0 GPA, are eligible to apply, according to a campus-wide email distributed by this year’s Board of Elections Chair Evan Wilkof.
Elections will take place Thursday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through an online ballot available to all current OU students.
“Student Senate is responsible for representing student issues and concerns within the wider university,” Wilkof said in the email. Senate meetings are weekly and open to the public
