Navigating uptown Athens may be slightly more difficult than it usually is Thursday.
President Street, where Bentley Hall and Copeland Hall are located, will be closed to traffic during the day due to heating and cooling renovations to the Computer Services Center.
The contractor will be lifting a new chiller into the Computer Services Center as a part of its HVAC renovations.
Neither Facilities nor the Office of Information Technology were able to be reached before press time.
The Board of Trustees approved a resolution in April to improve HVAC and upgrade electrical systems of the Computer Service Center with a budget of $1.6 million, funded by fiscal 2009 Bond Issuance.
