Two unknown suspects are still at large after committing an armed burglary and robbery on Franklin Avenue Tuesday night.

The Athens Police Department responded to 73 Franklin Ave. shortly after 11:30 p.m. after the residents reported an aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary, according to an APD report.

The two suspects entered the residence after brandishing a small firearm and ordering one resident to let them in. The suspects stole $971 worth of property from the residence, including two iPhones and about $100 in cash, according to the report.

At least two of the four victims are Ohio University students.

Both suspects are described as black men in their mid-twenties. One of the suspects is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and was wearing a black down-filled jacket and had a goatee. The other was about 5 feet 11 inches tall.

The police have no known suspects at the time.
