Roughly 760 Athens residents who lost power Wednesday morning from a snowstorm traveling through the Midwest have had their power restored.
American Electric Power reported more than 1,000 outages in Southeast Ohio at about 10 a.m. Since then, the number has been reduced to about 560, all located in Fairfield County, according to AEP’s website at 1 p.m.
Athens County is no longer under a freezing rain advisory, according to the National Weather Service.
