Living in a swing state has the obvious downside of constant political commercials.
The nonstop barrage of attack ads can have a disheartening effect on us: We become numb to the process and tune it all out, instead choosing to ignore politics completely.
Today, we need to do the opposite.
The reason we have been subjected to so many advertisements, junk mail, yard signs and stump speeches is that our votes really are worth more than those in other states. Our votes will decide this election.
No matter whom you vote for, don’t let apathy or disenchantment stop you from having your say. Take advantage of the privilege we have been given. Don’t waste it.
Go vote.
