Mitt Romney will stop in Zanesville and Chillicothe Tuesday as he continues his Ohio bus tour.

The Republican presidential hopeful recently introduced the "Romney Plan for a Stronger Middle Class" tour. His Ohio stop follows appearances in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.

Romney will pit himself against Democratic incumbent Barack Obama in November.

Romney will stop first at Tom's Ice Cream Bowl, 532 McIntire Ave. in Zanesville. The rally will begin at 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 2:30 p.m.

He'll head next to Chillicothe for a rally at 7 p.m. at the Ross County Courthouse, 2 North Paint Street in Chillicothe. The doors will open at 5 p.m.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich will join Romney on the Zanesville and Cillicothe stops Tuesday. Wednesday, Kasich and Romney will join recently-named Republican vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan at Ryan's alma mater, Miami University in Oxford.

Athens City Law Director Pat Lang, running for the United States House of Representatives as the Democratic nominee for Ohio's 15th congressional district, will speak at an anti-Romney rally at 3 p.m. today at the Organizing for America headquarters, 149 W. Water St. in Chillicothe.
