Liquor enforcement agents shut down The Crystal this weekend indefinitely.
The bar, located at 34 N. Court St., was shut down on Friday night by the liquor control commission for a taxation issue, said Julie Hines, a spokeswoman for the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Ohio Investigative Unit.
Agents arrived at the bar to explain what steps the owner needed to take to alleviate the problem, Hines said.
Violations with the Department of Taxation were the cause of the citation, she added.
The bar will be closed until the owner works out the taxation issue, she said.
Owner of The Crystal could not be reached for comment.
