Eight teams have a realistic chance to win this thing. That’s crazy. I’m picking a bit of an upset. But this team is scary-talented, and reminds me a lot of Ohio last year.
MAC Champion: Buffalo

What teams get hot at tournament time? The ones that can play offense and make 3-pointers. Teams that fit this mold in the MAC: Ohio and Buffalo. Still, I think Miami is the most complete team.

I never pick the top seed in a tournament. Never. It’s too obvious. But this is the MAC. That’s why it makes sense to pick the No. 1 Flashes, the only team that beat every team.
MAC Champion: Kent State
—Mike Stainbrook
As we saw last year, this is basically a tossup. With the way they've been playing of late, there's no reason the Bobcats can't win this thing for the second year in a row.
Mac Champion: Ohio
—Rob Ogden
My gut tells me Cinderella stories from last season almost never go as far the next year. But there isn’t one squad that sticks out to me, so screw it. Actually, that was the same reasoning I gave for picking Ohio to beat Georgetown this time last season.
MAC Champion: Ohio
—Nathaniel Maund
Although they might not have quite the best record in the league, the Bobcats will return to win the MAC championship for the second year in a row (maybe they'll even make it past the first round of the NCAA tournament too!)
MAC Champion: Ohio
