Beth Youngpeter first donated blood as a high school student after a close friend of hers became ill and needed a blood transfusion. Yesterday, Youngpeter donated her seventh pint of blood to an Athens Chapter Red Cross blood drive at the First United Methodist Church, 2 S. College St.
