Wrapping up the 2003 gymnastics season, the Mid-American Conference handed out individual and team awards.
Northern Illinois gymnast Kristina Campos was named MAC Gymnast of the Year, while the MAC Freshman of the Year award went to her teammate Ashlee Williams.
The team champion was Central Michigan, which finished with a score of 197.425.

Ten athletes were given the honor, which is voted on by faculty athletic representatives from the seven MAC schools sponsoring gymnastics teams.
The MAC Senior Gymnast of the Year, Eastern Michigan's Natalie Hashimoto, was among the honorees, as was fellow All-MAC team winner, Sarah Dame from Central Michigan.
Eastern Michigan loses long-time member of athletic administration
After serving the Eastern Michigan athletic department for 18 years, Carole Huston is retiring from her position as senior associate athletic director.
Huston began her career at Eastern in 1970 as a physical education instructor and in 1975 became the first-ever full-time athletic administrator for women as the assistant athletics director.
During an 11-year hiatus from Eastern Michigan, Huston was the associate athletics director for non-revenue sports at Bowling Green. While at Bowling Green, she coordinated 23 men's and women's non-revenue teams.
After returning to Eastern Michigan in 1991, Huston held several other roles in the athletic department, including senior women's administrator and interim athletic director.
