The Ohio House of Representatives will vote today to determine whether more cuts will be made to higher education during the next two years. Some Ohio University students and alumni said they are working to convince legislators to remove future budget cuts.
Ohio legislators suggested to college administrators during the summer that hearing from students and families could sway the vote on House Bill 95, the operations budget for fiscal years 2004-05, said Mike Worley, associate executive director for outreach with the OU Alumni Association.
