In an appropriately titled and ironically timely conference, U.S. Energy Consumption and the Environment, 10 energy experts in areas of education, industry, activism and history will debate three different themes today in Baker University Center.
The Baker Peace Conference, established in 1984 by 1945-1962 Ohio University President John C. Baker and his wife Elizabeth, was created as a public forum to encourage discussions on peace and society, said Leesa Brown, Communications and Marketing assistant vice president.
