The Ohio lacrosse team has scored five more goals than its opponents this season but its record would never show it.
The Bobcats dropped two more close decisions this weekend, falling to the California Golden Bears 12-11 Friday at Pruitt Field and the Saint Bonaventure Bonnies 13-11 Sunday in Alfred, N.Y.
Ohio (4-7) has an average margin of victory of eight goals in its four wins, but has lost all five of its game this season decided by four goals or less.
Ohio coach Kate Brew said her team has yet to master winning close games this season.
