Ohio resumes Mid-American Conference play Friday and Saturday with a three-game series against Miami.
Ohio had a break from conference games in its 7-0 win over Ohio State on Wednesday. It was the Bobcats’ first win in Columbus since 1997.
Danielle Stiene continued her dominant streak, pitching her third consecutive complete game shutout. She allowed five hits and struck out eight.
Mikayla Cooper hit her 10th home run of the season in the victory over the Buckeyes.

Miami is also coming off midweek wins. The RedHawks won two games over Wright State. The RedHawks, however, are under .500 in the MAC at 6-8.
As a team, Miami is hitting .251 and slugging .367. To compare, Ohio is hitting .281 and slugging .473.
Senior Megan Wurts leads the team with a .336 average. She has 17 extra base hits, with six of those being home runs.
Courtney Vierstra leads the way in the circle with a 2.27 ERA. She has thrown 10 complete games for the RedHawks.
