An Ohio University student was arrested in a residence hall for possessing 100 doses suspected LSD, psychoactive mushrooms, Adderall and $680.
Kent T. Ring, 20, intended to sell the drugs during fest season, according to an Athens Major Crimes Unit press release. Ring was arrested in Bromley Hall early April 21 morning.
He reportedly sold LSD twice in a school zone, which is a felony crime.
Ring was booked into Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. The sheriff expects additional charges to be filed against Ring.
"This is an ongoing investigation that will likely result in criminal charges for additional suspects," Smith said in a press release.
