Wide receiver Elijah Ball will miss the 2017 season with a torn ACL.

Ball tweeted out the news on his Twitter feed on Sunday afternoon.
He was expected to be a starter for the Bobcats this season alongside Brendan Cope and Papi White.
Ball played in 14 games last year and caught 16 passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns. The redshirt sophomore had recently been held out of practice, though the extent of the injury wasn't known until this afternoon.
Ohio will have to adjust without a rising star at the receiver position and will now be faced with finding another starting wideout.
